Congratulations to South Ramsey A on winning the Mixed Team Championship with a 167-148 victory over Douglas.

Both teams played some great bowls this evening and it was a tight affair after the first five blocks with South holding a slender 86-82 lead. In the second half South Ramsey won three of the four blocks to give them a victory by 19 points.

I must say a massive thank you to both Nobles and Douglas for hosting the competition this year and for all those at the two clubs who have given up their own time in the evenings to help setup, make teas and allow the competition to run so smoothly.

Port St Mary A lifted the JMS Veterans Shield for a second time beating Ballaugh 133-89 (6-1)

This latest victory means Port St Mary Bowling Club have had a clean sweep on all the Ladies competitions this year winning the Night League, Jean Kelly, Over 60s League and the JMS Shield
