1. The name of the committee shall be IOMCGBA Association Ladies Section Committee hereinafter referred to as the Ladies Section.
  2. The object of the Ladies Section shall be to organise league matches, knock out competitions, and individual competitions for junior girls, ladies of open age and ladies aged 60 years and over.
  3. The Ladies Section matches must be played in accordance with the Laws of the Game and any rules determined by the Ladies Section, the IOMCGBA and the British Crown Green Bowling Association.
  4. All playing members must be members of a club affiliated to the IOMCGBA and registered with the British Crown Green Bowling Association.
  5. The Ladies Section will consist of the following, all to be elected at the Annual Rules Review Meeting:
    Secretary,
    Treasurer,
    Competition Secretary,
    Competition committee members x 2,
    Press Officer,
    Safeguarding Officer / Development Committee Representative
    Ladies Open Age League representative and
    Ladies Over 60’s League representative.
    The representatives will represent the Ladies Section at Executive Meetings.
    One position is to be held by one person, and there should be no more than two persons from the same affiliated club.
    These positions shall be responsible for the day to day running of the Ladies Section. If a Ladies Section member elected at the Annual Rules Review Meeting ceases to hold office either by death or resignation, the Ladies Section shall have the power to fill the vacancy until the next Annual Rules Revision Meeting. Meetings of the Ladies Section shall require two thirds of the Elected Officials to form a quorum. An Elected Official who has a vested interest in an agenda item will not be allowed to vote or be involved in the outcome of the decision made by The Ladies Section.
    Delegates Meetings.
  6. These will be held anytime throughout the season as and when necessary. Each affiliated club are allowed to send one delegate to these meetings. Club delegates are permitted one vote on any matter.
    Rules Revision Meetings, Representation and Voting.
  7. i) An Annual Rules Revision Meeting (ARRM) of the Ladies Section will take place in the month of November each year. Rules 21.1 to 21.5 of the IOMCGBA Bye-Laws and Standing Order will be adhered to.
    ii) Notices of Motion that are submitted by Clubs prior to the ARRM will be discussed at a delegates meeting to be held in advance of the ARRM.
    iii) A quorum for an ARRM shall require that two thirds of the Affiliated Clubs are represented. Each club shall be entitled to send one delegate who shall have the power to vote on behalf of their club. However, the delegates may only vote on the Open Age League and/or the Over 60’s League matters if their club is entering in that particular League or Leagues. Any club not represented in the league or present at the ARRM shall abstain from voting.
    iv) The business to be transacted at the ARRM shall consist of:
    a) Apologies for absence
    b) The memorial role
    c) The minutes from the last ARRM
    d) Matters arising from the minutes
    e) The Secretary’s report
    f) The Treasurer’s report
    g) Correspondence (including from BCGBA)
    h) Notice of motions
    i) Election of officials
    j) Subscriptions and Competition Entry fees
    k) Honoraria
    l) Any Other Business
    Subscriptions and Finance
  8. i)The Annual Subscription payable by each affiliated club for the ensuing year shall be decided at the ARRM.
    ii) All cheques drawn on behalf of the Ladies Section must be signed by Treasurer and one other member of the Ladies Section.
    iii) The funds of the Ladies Section shall be paid into the Isle of Man Bank Ltd.
    iv) In the event the Ladies Section of the IOMCGBA ceases to function all monies belonging to it shall be paid to the IOMCGBA.
